Whilst in Molde, Norway, I thought of my brother and how he would have loved to be here and see the things I see. Remembering him, I took these photos and made a book for him as a memorial tribute.

In the process of documenting and researching for my project re dis covering, I started to practice by recording the most familiar space; my studio at the college.
On a big piece of paper folded in the structure of the room were recreated the markings I found on the wall. Rubbing and tracing to make the image of the existence, I could experiment the different aspects of visual characteristics.

The door when it was locked up the space was dead, but it got open to a new beginning. For a new gallery space call Raum Gallery, I exhibited Die tür to remember the history of the door being an old student union room. I traced abandoned markings to recollect the memories and history. The door held indentations, residue of tapes and posters and other small details that represent the characteristics of the space.
On a long sheet of paper were markings of footsteps and the marking on the door. For two days I worked all day onsite and I was able to interact with audience passing and witness the process of making.
